This new set of speakers, the KroCraft Rev.B Speakers, are set to be released soon by Scythe. We were given the opportunity by Scythe to review the product before it hit the market to give a thorough review on the product. This new model is the successor of the original KroCraft Speakers and aims to improve a few things.
Unboxing, Package Contents, and First Impressions:
The package contents consisted of the following items:

Nothing special was included with the product. It was packaged very carefully and with a lot of protection which was good to see. The speaker material quality was great. It was a nice smooth black finish with a slight rigid texture to it.

There have been a few improvements over the previous model. One important improvement which will drastically improve sound quality is the increase in size of the Woofer Magnet. The improvement is supposed to provide crystal clear midrange results and tighter & accurate bass. Take a look at the image below to see the improvements in the new Rev.B version as outlined by Scythe.
Configuration & Setup:
Setup is fairly straightforward. For these speakers to work, you require an amplifier. Simply connect the provided cables from each speaker to the amplifier and you are good to go. Here is an image provided by Scythe to guide you with the installation:
When setting up your speakers, it is recommended that you set them up in a triangular format to optimize sound. Of course, you can set them up in whatever position is most comfortable/feasible for you, but Scythe recommends an ‘isosceles triangle’ setup as shown in the image below.
After I finished the setting up of my amplifier and the speakers, it looked like this:
Performance:
When testing out this product, I used a radio/amplifier product and connected it to the KroCraft Rev.B speakers. Right away I was able to play music from the radio and experienced absolutely no loss in quality of any kind. The music was crystal clear and I the bass was impressive as well. You could literally touch the rubber front of the speakers and feel the vibrations of the music you are playing. I took a short video of my setup while playing some music off the radio (on 99.9 Virgin Radio music station). Please note that the sound quality in the video is what my camera supported, but as you will be able to tell, it is crystal clear and has a nice bass.
For comparisons sake, this is a video (recorded using the same camera with the exact same settings) of the same song playing on my laptops Altec Lansing speakers. Clearly the KroCraft Rev.B speakers blow these Altec Lancing speakers out of the park.
Overall:
I was happy to see that the speakers worked without any issues. You simply connect the wires provided in the packaging to your amplifier and enjoy quality premium sound from these speakers. This is perfect for when you have a party and need some loud music or if you just want to hang out in your room and watch a movie with quality sound. The material quality was also on the higher end which was a pleasant sight. Overall this product is highly recommended for a budget speaker system which is priced well and provides excellent quality sound. The speakers do come with an option for an amplifier as well, which makes this product even more tempting to purchase.
